Guardian Academia: Prologue, page I

And it BEGINS! This is a comic based on the idea "What if the Guardians were University professors?" I and my friend ~Hawk-Moth were chatting about it one day after she mentioned how her English professor sounded kinda like Jude Law.... He also looks like Martin Freeman(John Watson in BBC Sherlock), but I'll save that for another time. Oddly enough, he teaches a comics studies class, which I've been thinking would be helpful to take, since I want to do one someday. I've been using this as a sort of practice, so that's good, but to learn how they're organized, where they come from and their impact would be very cool.

Anyways, the story. Here it begins. It takes place on a liberal arts college campus that strangely resembles the University of Oregon campus(spare the names of certain buildings...). Think of it as a slice of student life/AU sort of story. It may have the Guardians as professors for the most part, but there will be times where other fandoms are thrown in there for kicks and giggles. You might see something you like in the backdrop... Or the foreground(haven't planned too far ahead just yet...)

Also, don't expect seriousness from it... It will be cracky... very much so, as you will see in the next page, which I will post momentarily.


Edit: Okay, it started out being cracky, but we're gonna do something with a little more substance. Oh, it'll still have crack moments, but there will actually be a plot. The plot's still in the making, and needs a bit more development, if I may say so, but I think it'll be a fun ride... So stay tuned!
