Zoom AI Companion
AI Companion for Zoom for Government: We are excited to share that earlier this month, The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorized AI Companion as a FedRAMP Moderate system. AI Companion for Zoom for Government, Zoom for Government’s generative AI assistant, empowers individuals by helping them be more productive, connect and collaborate with teammates, and improve their skills. With this authorization, we launched AI Companion meeting summaries for Zoom for Government customers.
Enhanced AI Companion results with OCR and chat messages: Meeting summaries can now use content from group chat messages and shared screen content to enrich the summary output. Zoom has enhanced AI Companion results by incorporating screen-shared content via optical character recognition (OCR) and in-meeting chat messages. This additional context allows AI Companion to create more accurate, reliable, and complete results. Administrators can manage these settings in Account Settings under the AI Companion tab in the web portal.
- Email compose enhancement: AI-assisted email composition is now available in Zoom Mail service, enhancing and simplifying the experience of replying to emails.

Zoom Docs

- Zoom Docs general availability: Zoom Docs is now available! Our AI-first collaborative docs solution is built from the ground up with AI Companion at its core. Designed to increase meeting effectiveness with customizable docs, Zoom Docs can help you transform meeting content into actionable documents, wikis, and projects, and works seamlessly with Zoom Meetings and other Zoom Workplace products. Check out our guide to get started with Zoom Docs.
*Zoom Docs is included with eligible paid Zoom Workplace bundles. Account owners, admins, and users (if admin-approved) can access Docs by downloading and installing the latest version of the Zoom Workplace app from zoom.com, in the Zoom Web App, or online at docs.zoom.us.
Zoom Meetings
Domain association: Zoom will validate users’ domains and display them in their profile cards, which are accessible in the meeting tile and participant list for both internal and external users. Customers can use greater discretion when communicating with others who don’t have a domain from the organization they are claiming to represent.
Zoom Mesh for Meetings: Deliver high-quality video by reducing internet bandwidth consumption for participants in the same network or location. Define locations, subnets, and parameters to fine-tune performance in your environment. Get real-time insights like parent/child ratio, mesh performance, and bandwidth savings.
Zoom Phone
- Bulk update for holiday hours: Organizations can efficiently manage and update holiday hours across multiple site locations or sites at once, rather than manually adjusting them site by site.
- Bulk site management: Admins can efficiently apply changes across multiple sites, enhancing the site management's flexibility and scalability.
- Call park across sites: A call parked by a user in one branch location (Site A) can now be picked up by a user in another location (Site B), and vice versa. This seamless transfer improves communication and collaboration across sites, helping to ensure calls are handled more efficiently.
- Zoom Phone walkthrough: This walkthrough helps simplify the Zoom Phone system setup for administrators by providing an interactive, step-by-step guide. When admins select the “Overview” page under Phone System Management and click “Begin Setup,” they are guided through essential phone system configurations.
Member availability report for PowerPack: This report delivers a clear, real-time view of agent availability, giving administrators a more accurate understanding of their team’s status. Admins can quickly see which agents are ready to take calls, improving their response times and resource management.
Zoom Team Chat

Zoom Scheduler
- Set a designated email(s) to always invite (CC): As a host, you can automatically add another user whenever a booking link event is booked (i.e., add your manager).
- Ignore calendar availability for one-off meetings: If a calendar looks overbooked or full, hosts can now override an existing calendar event to generate an available time slot. We’ve made it easy to manually reschedule meetings and make space for high-priority events, such as moving an internal 1:1 out of the way for a customer sales meeting.
Zoom Whiteboard
- Whiteboard visitor mode: Invite users outside of your organization to collaborate in a whiteboard. Configure each user's access level — editor, commenter, or viewer — and protect sensitive content sharing through clearly labeled notifications that identify unauthenticated users.
- Whiteboard migration tool: If you use other tools like Miro, Visio, or Lucidchart, you can now import your .vsdx files into Zoom Whiteboard. Our easy-to-use drag-and-drop importer tool enables you to upload diagrams that will be automatically interpreted as Zoom Whiteboard objects.
Zoom Clips

- Clips playlists: Easily organize your Zoom Clips into customizable playlists to create a watch list that can be shared with internal or external viewers via email or a shareable link.
Zoom Rooms

- Smart name tags public beta: Make your meetings more inclusive by leveraging AI to apply name tags to people in a Zoom Room. Remote participants will have more visibility into who is in the room — regardless of whether or not someone is speaking – helping to improve engagement and productivity within hybrid work.
Workspace Reservation
- Points of interest: Add Workspace Reservation points of interest (like exits and bathrooms) to your maps so customers can search for these areas or travel to them through wayfinding.

- Multi-language support for live transcription: Agents can view live voice transcriptions in their preferred language, making it easier for them to engage with customers and overcome language barriers.
- View engagement history across all channels: Agents and supervisors now have clearer visibility into the customer engagement history regardless of the channel used. With access to engagements across multiple channels, including voice, SMS, email, authenticated messaging, and social media, team members can have a deeper understanding of consumer interactions.

- Transfer interactions with notes: When transferring an engagement to a colleague, agents can now add an optional note (either manually or AI-generated) that provides more information and relevant context to help the receiving agent deliver a better customer experience.

- Long-term forecasting: Build forecasts from six to 24 months into the future to help ensure your contact center is properly staffed to handle expected interaction volumes.
Zoom Events
- No-auth event registration: Hosts can simplify the event sign-up experience by letting attendees join without authentication. This feature streamlines access, helping boost attendance while maintaining essential host controls.
- Automatic survey launch for recurring events: Enabling surveys to automatically open in attendees' browsers after a recurring session ends can help your event organizers capture more audience feedback and insights.
