Longer Flex trips are now cheaper! For day trips around 6 hours or longer, prices have been dropped by up to £35 a day on each rate plan. Perfect for that spontaneous trip or when you need more flexibility.

Remember, once the daily rate kicks in you won't pay any more for your trip until it ticks over 24 hours. 

Multi-day Discounts

From now until the end of the year, the longer you book the more you save. Make the most of your time, and make savings too. Discounts are auto applied, no code needed.

There's a lot more to Zipcar than you think. Our membership plans will help you save on each trip with significant savings vs our free plan, plus you get your membership fee back in credit. Win win.

Smart Membership

The Smart plan cost £6 per month and gives you up to 20% off daily and hourly car hire rates compared to Basic. In addition to that you get your membership back in credit each.

Plus Membership

The Plus membership plan is £15 a month and gives you the best rates for vehicles, saving up to 30% compared to Basic. Just like Smart, you also receive your membership fee back in credit each month. 

Discounted Flex Cars

Some of our Flex cars have discounted rates. Simply, search for Flex (blue pins) on the app, and find a car with an orange tag that has a generous discount (15% off). The final rate will be applied at the end of your reservation.

Business Membership

Get discounted rates of up to 30% off for Roundtrip and 16% off on Flex. New members can save £99 and join free for the first year. Want to upgrade your business account? Click here to find out more. 

Business Hours: up to 33% off

Save a third – 33% - compared to standard business prices when you make a Roundtrip car or van booking between 6am and 10pm, that is at least 9 hours long (max 12 hours res length).  Open to Business plans only (excluding basic), excludes hourly only vehicles and bookings must end before midnight 23rd December 2023.

Overnight Rate: up to 50% off

Save up to 50% when you book a Roundtrip car or van Monday – Thursday nights, between 6pm and 9am. Bookings must be for a minimum of 10 hours, maximum of 15 hours. Open to Business plans only (excluding basic), excludes hourly only vehicles and bookings must end before midnight 23rd December 2023.

Flex Day Rate T&Cs 

The reduced rate of Flex trips for the day is valid from 10th June 2024 until midnight 31st December 2024. The price for a day trip in Flex on weekdays will reduce on Basic plans from £125 to £90, on Smart plans from £115 to £80 and on Plus plans from £105 to £75. Weekend prices for a day in Flex will reduce on Basic plans from £135 to £97.5, on Smart plans from £125 to £95 and on Plus plans from £115 to £90. Valid for approved UK Zipcar members only. You can upgrade or change your membership plan in the Account section of the app. The maximum journey time in a Flex car is 48 hours.

Reduced rate of Flex trips for the day is valid from 10th June 2024 until midnight 31st December 2024. Price for a day trip in Flex on weekdays will reduce on Standard Business plans from £105 to £75, and weekends from £125 to £95. Maximum journey time in a Flex car is 48 hours.

 

Multiday T&Cs

Valid on all Roundtrip car reservations, not valid on vans for consumer plans. Valid for vans during weekdays for those who are Business members. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay for your trip, and varies depending on the vehicle class you drive, the membership plan you’re on and if your trip is on a weekday or weekend. Two day reservations discounts come into effect on reservations 34 hours and 57 hours, three day between 58 and 81 hours, four days between 82 hours and 105 hours, five days between 106 and 129 hours, six days between 130 hour and 153 hours, seven days between 154 hours and 168 hours. Valid until 31 December 2024. Zipcar reserves the right to amend or remove offers at any time. Any trip extending beyond the timeframe referenced will not qualify for any discount and the entire reservation will be billed at regular rates.
