- Could have gotten better tyres
Expert's Conclusion
The TVS Sport ticks all the right boxes for an affordable, reasonably feature-packed 110cc commuter. The base variant makes a lot of sense because it gets all the features as the top-end variant minus the fancy graphics. So if you’re willing to live without the graphics, the base variant makes excellent sense. Moreover, it costs almost the same as the Hero HF100, which not only gets a smaller engine but also lacks an electric starter.

TVS Sport Expert Review
The TVS Sport is an affordable 110cc bike for everyday commuting, and it's also fuel-efficient, making it super practical. Here's why it's a popular choice in its category:
Design
The TVS Sport is a practical commuter bike. It has a simple and sleek design, keeping things minimal, but adds a bit of sporty flair with some graphics. There are two versions: ELS and ES. The only difference between them is the presence of fancy graphics in the ELS variant.
Engine, Performance & Mileage
The TVS Sport is powered by a 110cc engine that makes 8.2PS and 8.7Nm and comes mated to 4-speed gearbox. The claimed top speed of the TVS Sport is 90kmph. The engine is the same as the one in the TVS Star City Plus. We’d ridden the Star City Plus, and it returned a real-world tested mileage of 83.09kmpl in the city and 66.34kmpl on the highway. Expect the TVS Sport to offer more or less the same mileage figures. This coupled with the 10-litre fuel tank should ensure excellent range. Both variants have both electric and kick start options for easy use.
Handling & Ride Quality
The TVS Sport has great handling characteristics, making it easy to navigate through city traffic because of its light 112kg kerb weight. With a 175mm ground clearance, it can handle bumpy roads easily. TVS could’ve offered 18-inch alloys as they can ensure a better ride quality than the existing 17-inch units.
Comfort
The TVS Sport puts rider comfort first with its comfy, well-padded single-piece seat. The upright and relaxed riding position helps reduce tiredness on longer rides, making it great for daily commuting or the occasional longer trip. The 5-step preload adjustable shock absorbers setup should help in figuring out the right suspension setting for you and make your daily commutes even more comfortable.
Features
The TVS Sport has regular bulb indicators, and it uses a halogen bulb for both the headlight and taillight. The dashboard has an analog display showing the speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge, among other things.
Should You Buy The TVS Sport?
If you're looking for a reliable and fuel-efficient commuter bike, the TVS Sport is a solid pick. The base ES variant makes a lot of sense as it offers all the features as the top-end variant except for the flashy graphics. If you’re willing to overlook the stickers, the base variant is a fantastic value-for-money choice as it is in fact the second most affordable bike in India, just around Rs 400 more than the Hero HF 100. The HF100 not only gets a smaller 100cc engine but also lacks an electric starter.
