TVS Scooty Zest

The TVS Scooty Zest is a commuter oriented 110cc scooter with a funky design. It's made for city riders, giving a great mix of style, lightweight dynamics, and good mileage.

Design:

The Scooty Zest has a unique, youthful look that attracts young riders. It has sharp lines, a stylish headlamp, and fun colour choices, making it really eye-catching. The Matte Series variant is available in four colour options: Matte Black, Matte Blue, Purple and Matte Red while the Gloss Series variant is available in Turquoise Blue colour option. 

Engine, Performance and Mileage

The scooter has a 110cc engine producing 7.81PS and 8.8Nm, which should be enough for commuting within the city. 

Handling & Ride Quality

With a low kerb weight of 103kg, the Scooty Zest should offer agile handling. The telescopic fork and the single rear shock absorber should suffice in absorbing bumps on bad roads. It gets a 130mm drum up front and a 110mm rear drum. While they may be adequate for stopping duties, an optional front disc would’ve gone a long way in improving the braking performance. 

Comfort

The TVS Scooty Zest has a 760mm tall seat and this combined with the 103kg kerb weight, should make it very accessible for shorter riders. The wheelbase of 1,250mm is on the shorter side, so that should also make it easier to manoeuvre easily in traffic. 

Features

The TVS Scooty Zest gets 3D emblems, beige interior, a stylish seat cover, LED daytime running lights, and handy stuff like an under seat light, glove box on the apron, a USB charger, and a big 19-litre storage under the seat, and also extra hooks for your stuff. That said, the instrument cluster is analogue, and lacks smartphone connectivity even as an option. 

Should You Buy The TVS Scooty Zest?

If you want a scooter that looks good, is easy to handle, and is reasonably practical, the TVS Scooty Zest is a good option. It is also short-rider friendly thanks to its accessible seat height and lightweight.
