Toyota has recalled 2,305 units of the pre-facelift Glanza over a possible fuel pump motor issue. The affected vehicles were manufactured between April 2, 2019 and October 6, 2019. Toyota’s authorized dealerships will contact the affected car owners and fix the issue at no extra cost. Prices for the Toyota Glanza range from Rs 6.86 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).

Features: The Toyota Glanza is packed with features like LED projector headlights with LED DRLs, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, auto AC with rear AC vents, keyless entry, push-button start/stop and a head-up display. The safety suite of the Glanza consists of six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, a 360-degree camera, and a 360-degree camera with parking sensors.

Engine: The Toyota Glanza gets a 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with options of both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT. The engine delivers an output of 90 PS and 113 Nm and has a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.35 kmpl with the manual and 22.94 kmpl with the automatic. The Glanza can also be had in a CNG version, which delivers a reduced output of 77 PS and 98.5 Nm. The CNG version gets mated to a manual gearbox only. It returns a claimed mileage of 30.61 km/kg. The dimensions of the Glanza measures 3990 mm in length, 1745 mm in width and 1500 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2520 mm.

Rivals: The Glanza is Toyota’s premium hatchback and it competes against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz.

A perfect hatchback car

Toyota glanza has given a good experience to me in last 1 year. I am using it for daily travelling and i felt that this car is best in this segment. the design is unique and build quality is also enhanced. the engine is very refined and gives mileage of 22-24 kmpl. the interior is very spacious and have large legroom in backseats. the boot space can carry large trolley bags.

I may buy a Toyota Glanza. Within my budget, this is a really nice automobile. Simple yet elegant is how the outside seems. Nice headlamps and a striking front grille complete its streamlined look. For regular city driving, this is a nice vehicle. The Toyota Glanza has really comfy interiors. There are ample of soft chairs for five individuals. A touchscreen for music and other functions is part of the tidy dashboard. The passengers find the back seats pleasant because of the reasonable legroom. Glanza rides smoothly. Driving it is simple, and it handles city streets effectively. Airbags and ABS are two further safety measures of the vehicle. All things considered, young professionals and small families could do well with the Toyota Glanza.

High quality of interior from toyota

Glanza engine is smooth and has good fuel efficiency and the interior quality is excellent but the diesel engine is absent. It still has excellent performance at high speeds on the highway and excellent ride quality.

Taking the Toyota Glanza on a weekend trip from Mumbai to Lonavala was a delightful experience. The 1.2L Dual VVT engine provided a quick but smooth drive, giving impressive mileage of about 20 kmpl. For city driving and occasional trips, the Glanza is a practical, fuel efficient hatchback. It is perfect for those who prioritize space and tech features within a compact design.However, the build quality felt less compared to models like the Hyundai i20.
