Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been teased for the first time and also the ‘Guerrilla’ name has been confirmed. Recently, we received a ‘block-your-date’ invitation from Royal Enfield and the bike will be launched on July 17, 2024. The newest teaser from Guy Martin (Isle Of Man TT winner) tells us a lot about the bike, and it could be priced lower than the Triumph Speed 400. Along with this, the upcoming roadster’s spy shots were leaked online, providing us with clear images of the bike.

It gets a round headlight and a curvy fuel tank design with flat surfaces on either side, with the Royal Enfield badging to be also there on the production version. The rear section, with the integrated taillight and turn indicators, looks very similar to the Himalayan 450. The raised handlebar and the mid-set footpegs mean that the riding posture will be upright. It is expected to get the circular semi-digital instrument cluster from the Super Meteor 650, and the higher variant will get the round TFT console from the Himalayan 450. The upcoming Guerrilla will come equipped with a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup (with lower travel than the Himalayan 450) while braking duties will be taken care of by disc brakes at both ends. 

It will share the same 450cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Himalayan 450, which makes 40PS and 40Nm, with the tuning expected to be different to suit the roadster’s characteristics. 

The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is expected to be priced at around Rs 2.20 lakh - Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom), introductory. It will rival the Triumph Speed 400, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Hero Mavrick 440, Harley-Davidson X440 and QJ Motor SRC 500.
