Features: The features list includes an infotainment screen with bluetooth, a digital driver’s display, an air conditioner, power windows,connected car tech, and a multifunction steering wheel. Its connected car tech suite also gets the remote parking control which allows for forward or reverse maneuvers using an app on the smartphone. The safety features include a driver airbag, seat belts and a reversing camera.

Motor: The powertrain of the PMV Eas-E EV gets a 48-V lithium iron phosphate battery, which will be offered in multiple variants. The range will vary between 120km, 160km, and 200km, depending upon the variant selected. The capacity figure of the battery hasn’t been revealed but it will be paired to an electric motor producing 13.5PS and 50Nm. It has a top speed of 70kmph. Its battery can be juiced up within four hours using a 15A power socket.

Rivals: It has no direct rivals but is an affordable alternative to the Tata Tiago EV and upcoming MG Air EV.

Range: EaS E can go upto 160 km/charge after a full charge.

The first electric four-wheeler from the Indian startup PMV Electric called the Eas-E, has been launched at Rs 4.79 lakh (ex-showroom). It dethrones the Tata Tiago EV as the most affordable electric vehicle in the country by quite a margin. Bookings for the two-seater EV are underway for Rs 2,000, and its current pricing is introductory and valid for the first 10,000 customers. PMV has already received 6,000 orders for the EV. Prices of other variants will be announced in the future.
