When comparing prices, the Thar Roxx starts Rs 63,000 lower than the Scorpio. However, its diesel engine variant is priced Rs 12,000 higher than the 9-seater Scorpio S variant. Both SUVs have distinct design languages, each showcasing muscular styling. However, the Scorpio Classic appears taller due to its larger dimensions, which we’ll cover in detail in the next section.

Although these are base variants, the Thar Roxx does not fall short on exterior features. The MX1 variant gets LED projector headlights, LED fog lamps, and LED tail lamps, as well as a side footstep for easier ingress and egress, amenities missing on the entry-level Scorpio Classic. In contrast, the Scorpio Classic is equipped with halogen headlights and gets black finished side cladding. The base Thar Roxx is better equipped than the entry-level Scorpio Classic in the features department as well. It not only comes with a touchscreen infotainment system but also gets a 4-speaker audio setup and upgraded safety with 6 airbags. In contrast, the Scorpio Classic S lacks these features and also misses out on push-button start/stop, a reverse parking camera, and only includes dual front airbags.
