(Update: The all-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has been launched with a very attractive price tag. Read all about it in our launch story here)
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 has been unveiled and its specifications have also been revealed. And now we’ve gotten to know the accessories Royal Enfield will be offering with the ADV.
The accessories will be available under two themes - Adventure and Rally. The common accessories between the two themes are the headlight grille and the bash plate. The Adventure-theme pack gets a taller windscreen, auxiliary lights, tank bag, tank panniers that can be mounted on the tank braces, touring seats (for both rider and pillion), wider tail rack, top box, side panniers and saddle stays.
The Rally pack consists of a radiator guard, full-length knuckle guards with aluminium brace, wider handlebar, rally seat with a possible seat height of 855mm, specialised tail panel, tail bag, soft panniers and a street-legal exhaust from Arrow (but sadly, it won’t be available in India). Also, Royal Enfield has confirmed that they are working on homologating tubeless spoke wheels and will be available as an accessory when launched.
The prices of the accessories haven’t been revealed yet. They are expected to be announced shortly after the Himalayan 452’s launch sometime this month with an expected price of Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom).
