The deliveries have started in a phased manner, starting in Bengaluru
Ampere EV has announced that the deliveries of the recently launched Ampere Nexus electric scooter have started. The deliveries have begun in Bengaluru for customers who have already booked the scooter by paying a token amount of Rs 9,999, while deliveries for the other parts of the country will be done in a phased manner throughout June 2024.

The Ampere Nexus is available in two variants: ST and EX and gets a boxy design language, which suits its positioning as a family-oriented electric scooter. It gets an LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery pack with a claimed range of 136km and a swingarm-mounted motor with a claimed top speed of 93kmph. It takes 3.3 hours to fully charge the battery. Suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers while braking duties are taken care of by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.
Features include a 7-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation in the ST variant while the EX variant gets a 6.2-inch LCD instrument console. It also has 5 riding modes and all-LED lighting. The Ampere Nexus rivals the likes of the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, Hero Vida V1 Pro, Ola S1 Air and Bajaj Chetak.
