Tata Curvv EV Teaser: What Can We Notice?

The teaser showcases the Curvv’s sloping roofline, which makes it look unique when compared to its traditional SUV bodystyle rivals. Apart from that, we can notice the sleek connected LED tail lamps as well. Other highlights from the teaser include flush fitting door handles (a first for a Tata) and what seems like the Nexon EV’s Empowered Oxide hue.

The Curvv EV is also expected to get a closed grille and a sleek connected LED DRL with welcome and goodbye function.

Tata Curvv EV: Expected Features

The Tata Curvv EV’s interior is yet to be seen properly. But based on earlier spy shots, we can say the cabin will borrow plenty of bits with the Nexon and Harrier

It is expected to come loaded to the gills with features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a JBL sound system with subwoofer, panoramic sunroof, multi-colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats and a wireless phone charger.

Passenger safety is expected to be taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake and Level-2 ADAS.

Tata Curvv EV: Powertrain Options

The Curvv EV will be based on Tata’s dedicated Acti.ev architecture, a dedicated platform for electric cars. Detailed technical specifications are yet to be revealed. But based on current Tata EVs, one can expect two versions to be available – Standard Range and Long Range – with varying battery packs and a claimed range of around 500km.

Tata Curvv EV: Price And Rivals

One can expect the upcoming Curvv to be priced from around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it in contention with the MG ZS EV as well as the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti Suzuki eVX.
