The Kushaq gets two engines, both petrol. The first one is a smaller 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit, making 115PS of power, mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The larger 1.5-litre four-cylinder, on the other hand, makes 150PS of power and comes with two gearbox options: a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT. Even out on the highway, this engine has reserves of power and because of the tall gearing, this engine stays at a very comfortable rpm even at high speeds. This not only results in less stress on the engine but also aids fuel efficiency. Improve highway fuel efficiency further you get cylinder deactivation technology with the 1.5-litre unit. This basically shuts down two of the four cylinders while cruising or when the engine load is low. If we have to nit-pick, the clutch on the manual Kushaq is a little bit on the heavier side but other than that, as an urban commuter, this car works. Like the engine, the Kushaq´s ride is also impressive and it drives like an SUV should. It behaves beautifully over rough roads thanks to the quiet, softly damped, long-travel suspension. Despite the soft setup, even highway rides are surprisingly comfortable as the Kushaq remains composed over undulating surfaces and there's not much body movement. As a result, covering long distances in the Kushaq feels effortless. Is the Kushaq fun to drive? Well, absolutely! For starters, as mentioned before, the engine feels powerful. Sure, it doesn't like to be revved hard as it sounds a little rough but other than that, it has loads of grunt. But what really surprises you is the chassis balance. Despite it having a comfortable ride, it is very eager to change directions. The Kushaq feels agile and the steering too is well-weighted and accurate. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Skoda Kushaq User Reviews

  • A mid budget SUV

If you want to drive and SUV under mid budget with premium feeling than skoda kushaq is the best option. this car has a stunning attractive design. there is a 5 star safety rating and build quality is as always very good. the mileage is around 18-19 kmpl. I also liked the interior design and build but somewhere the panels quality is compromised.

  • in public's high demand

I intend to get a Skoda Kushaq. Within my budget, this is a really nice automobile. Modern and extremely attractive is the outside. Its strong-looking grille and pointed headlamps complete its appearance. Both long distance and city driving are well served by this automobile. The Skoda Kushaq is a really cozy car indoors. Soft and well-supported are the seats. Five persons may comfortably sit down. Good legroom on the back seats allows even tall persons to sit comfortably. Easy to use and basic is the dashboard. Its navigation and audio controls are on a touchscreen.Kushaq rides rather smoothly. It travels over road hiccups really nicely. With so much safety equipment, such as airbags and ABS, the automobile is also incredibly safe. All things considered, families and young people would love the Skoda Kushaq.

  • Skoda Kushaq - Stylish and Efficient

Last month, I took the Skoda Kushaq on to show my friend. He felt that it is a mix of style, comfort and efficiency. Powered by a 1.5L TSI engine with 150 bhp and reaching up to 16-17 km/l mileage, the Kushaq did not disappoint. Its sleek design and comfortable seats made his test drive enjoyable and the 385 liter boot space was more than enough for every luggage. The rear seat felt slightly cramped for taller passengers on long drive.

  • outstanding performance

A practically designed, compact sedan, the Skoda Kushaq has space for 5 passengers with roomy and comfortable cabin, enough legroom and good amount of boot space. This model is available for an affordable price, which is a tad bit convenient but of course owes to the benchmark of skoda. With both petrol and diesel fuel type, FWD drive train and innumerable modern features infused with technology, this model stands out.
