  • Q. I have Honda City automatic car for past 3 years. till date I have been driving on D mode with Eco on. The mileage was around 13 KM in city and 16 -17 Km on highway. Recently, I went on long drive, my friend drove the car in Sports mode for around 1300 KM. After which as of date the mileage has reduced to 10 KM in city drive and 12 KM for highway drive even if I drive in D mode as earlier. Can you let me know the issue.

    In order to get better fuel efficiency returns from your car, there are some points that you can keep in mind while driving such as keeping a check on tyre air pressure, timely service your car, maintain proper gear to RPM ratio, do not accelerate the car unnecessarily, drive your car at economical speeds, etc.

    Yeah Dude It Has Nothing To Do With The Car. Around 2017-2018 The Automatic Transmission Wasn't Developed Much And Was Less Fuel Efficient So You Will Have to live with it....

    Yes, now I have started driving the same way as I used to earlier. Could there be any other issue eg. gearbox were off or some other issue?

  • Honda is a good

    Honda is a good car but needs improvement in certain areas.Need to improve on mileage as it gives 6-8 km in the city.Engine is not silent as compared to earlier honda.Head room is less in front.Gearbox is not smooth, It is noisy in low speeds.Poor on pick up when five people r in the car.Rubber parts particularly window bidding get hard very fast.Bonet front side get rusted very soon.Lower part of doors get rusted.Rear window area which leads to boot also get rusted.It is comfortable for five people.Seats should be areated.Quality of vanity mirror is very bad.
