How many gears available in Bajaj Platina 100?

Yes I am always going long drive weekly twice. Check the engine oil level & also the tyre pressure is very important. Maintain the speed of 45kmph. Extacly you will be surprised for the mileage & the ride will be like butter smooth. I always enjoy the long ride in platina.

From my personal experience and after using platina 100 for more than 8 to 9 years I feel it is the best bike under 100cc segment. Hope the platina 110 will be better than the platina 100cc.

Splendor will win, because the firing rate of splendor is much higher than platina. Splendor has flat lying bore where as platina has a straight standing bore which faces gravitational force while pushing the piston to upwards direction where as splendor faces no such force. I know its little too scientific but it's true.

In Platina 100 ES the choke will be near to the carburetor on the Right hand side, under the petrol tank.

The first service of Bajaj Platina 100 is scheduled at 30-45 days or 500-750kms (whichever is completed earliest). In the first service of Platina, the bike would be serviced with water wash, engine oil, and filter is replaced. Air cleaner element, air filter cover ring, oil strainer, and drain tube are cleaned. Fuel pipes for cracks are checked. Valve tappet clearance is checked and adjusted. In order to improve the mileage, we would suggest you ride slower. Riding fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are travelling above 60 kmph. It is best to change gears appropriately and match the gear and the RPM carefully.
