Mini India has launched the new-generation Countryman in India at Rs 54.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in an all-electric version, with a 66.45 kWh battery pack mated to a single electric motor. It offers a WLTP-claimed range of 462km. It sports a minimalist design for both exterior as well as interior. It rivals the Kia EV6 and Volvo XC40 Recharge.

Mini Countryman Electric Key Highlights

Features: The Countryman Electric comes with a 9.4-inch OLED infotainment system, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control and connected car technology. Safety features include multiple airbags, electronic parking brake, level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and dynamic stability control.

Motor: The Mini Countryman comes with a 66.45 kWh battery pack that powers an electric motor producing 204 PS and 250 Nm. It offers a WLTP-claimed range of 462 km. The motor drives the front wheels. It measures 4,445 mm in length, 2,069 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height. It offers a wheelbase of 2,692 mm. It is capable of charging from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes, using a 130 kW DC fast charger.

Rivals: The 2024 Mini Countryman Electric rivals the BYD Seal, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, and Volvo XC40 Recharge.
