MG Hector 2019-2021
MG Hector 2019-2021 Overview
MG Motor India is all set to launch the facelifted Hector SUV on January 7. It gets a new facia, with a new Hector Plus-like front grille and bumper along with bigger 18-inch wheels. The interior gets a black-creme colour scheme that not only looks more premium, but also makes the cabin feel airier.
The facelifted Hector should retain the existing 170PS 2.0-litre diesel and 143PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines. A 6-speed manual gearbox is offered as standard while the turbo-petrol engine can be specced with a CVT. The turbo-petrol manual powertrain can be specced with a 48v mild-hybrid system as well.
The facelifted MG Hector could command a slight premium over the current model priced from Rs 12.83 lakh to Rs 18.08 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted Hector will rival the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, and Mahindra XUV500.

- The Hector’s dynamics are tuned towards a sensible and calm driving style. It absorbs poor roads very well and tackles the SUV aspect very well.
