Maruti Celerio Overview

Maruti Suzuki has launched the Dream Series Limited Edition Celerio at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The dream edition will be limited to the base Lxi variant of the Celerio, and will be available with a manual gearbox only. The limited edition model will be on sale only till the end of June 2024. It will feature a reverse parking camera, 2 speakers, and an aftermarket infotainment system as well.

Maruti Celerio Key Highlights

Features: Maruti Suzuki offers the Celerio with features such as keyless entry with push-button start (a segment first), a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted controls, a manual AC, and a multi-info display. Safety is taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.

Engine: Maruti Suzuki offers the Celerio two powertrain options: 67PS/89Nm 1-litre DualJet petrol and 56PS/82Nm 1-litre CNG. Transmission options include a standard 5-speed manual and an optional AMT (limited to the petrol mill). The hatchback has a claimed mileage of 26.68kmpl (on petrol) and 35.50km/kg (on CNG). The hatchback is 3695mm long, 1655mm wide, 1555mm tall, and has a 2435mm wheelbase. Boot space is 313 litres.

Rivals: The Maruti Suzuki Celerio takes on the likes of the Tata Tiago and the Maruti Wagon R.

Variants: The Maruti Celerio comes in four trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+. The CNG powertrain is limited to the mid-spec VXi.

In a low budget segment celerio is the king in my thoughts.I have driven and experienced the mileage and the power of engine.Its mentainance cost in very affordable as a middle class family should worth it.

Indian roads

This car never disappoints on indian roads.This car is spacious for 4 tall adults making it convenient for passengers at the back.It has good under thigh support.Visibility for the driver is good and steering is quite good and responsive.Interiors could have been more modern.For an average indian road driving conditions the mileage it offers is excellent.This car surely gives the required throttle when gas peddle it hit, Giving you confidence at the corners and while overtaking with sparingly noticeable vibrations when revved.Breaking is average.In short, This can be considered as a daily driver in cities and to have a comfortable country side rides for a small family.

The celerio is a good and sleek car.I found no problem in it's working and running.However, Last year the tcm broke down.I had to a cost of rs 78000/- to get it repaired.

One of the best entry level hatch back car.Value for money, Easy on pocket, 20+ mileage on petrol, Minimal vibrations (evident but it gives thrill) good resale value, Fun to drive.What else one could expect under 6 lakhs.After sale service is satisfactory as service centres may charge you unnecessary sometimes.
