Land Rover is all set to assemble the Range Rover Sport in India as a complete knock-down unit, which implies that prices have dropped substantially. This move should further boost its sales within the country. Available in both petrol and diesel powertrains, the Dynamic SE variants for both the powertrains are priced at Rs 1.40 Crore (ex-showroom), which makes it Rs 29 lakh cheaper than the completely built unit (CBU) models. Furthermore, higher trims like the HSE and Autobiography will continue to be brought in as CBUs and will command higher prices.

Land Rover Range Rover Sport is a 5-seater luxury car, which comes with a familiar Range Rover silhouette, but with modern styling and design language. It is on the pricier side, but offers plenty of luxury features, a spacious and comfortable cabin and multiple powertrains to choose from, as per your needs. It competes with the Porsche Cayenne.

Price: It is priced from Rs 1.64 crore to Rs 1.84 crore

Features: It is loaded with kit such as a 13.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with JLR’s Pivi Pro software, a 13.1-inch digital driver display, ambient lighting, 22-way powered front seats with heating and ventilation function, a 29-speaker, 1430W Meridian sound system, a panoramic sunroof, soft-closing doors, and active noise cancellation. Other than ADAS, there's a 3D surround camera, driver condition monitor, front and rear parking sensors, wade sensors, ClearSight Ground View and Manoeuvring Lights.

Engine: Under the hood is a sole 345PS 3.0-litre six-cylinder mild-hybrid Ingenium diesel engine making 345PS and 700Nm, paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and an all-wheel drivetrain. Performance wizardry includes Dynamic Air Suspension, all-wheel steering, active anti-roll bar, as well as Land Rover’s Terrain Response 2 feature.

Rivals: It rivals the Porsche Cayenne, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and BMW X5.
