Kia Carnival

The Kia Carnival has secured 1,822 bookings on the first day of its pre-launch reservations. The carmaker has already revealed the MPV in full and it is set to launch on October 3, 2024. It is being offered in two broad variants and a single 2.2-litre diesel engine option. It gets a completely redesigned look this time taking cues from the flagship upcoming EV9.

Kia Carnival Key Highlights

Features: The 2024 Kia Carnival is equipped with features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, dual sunroof, ventilated front and second-row seats, a 12-way powered driver seat, 8-way power front passenger seat, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, head-up display, push-button start and a 12-speaker Bose sound system. The safety suite of the 2024 Carnival comprises of 8 airbags, ABS with EBD, hill assist, electronic stability control, ISOFIX, a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor, front, rear and side parking sensors and level 2 ADAS features.

Engine: The Kia Carnival gets a single engine option: a 2.2-litre diesel engine that can provide an output of 193 PS and 441 Nm. It is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission that pushes power to the front-wheels only. It measures 5155 mm in length, 1995 mm in width and 1775 mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 3090 mm.

Rivals: The Kia Carnival, when launched, will be a more premium alternative to the Toyota Innova Hycross and Maruti Suzuki Invicto.

Variants: The Kia Carnival is offered in two trims: Limousine and Limousine Plus. In colour options, you can pick either of these two monotone shades: Fusion Black and Glacier White.
