Jeep Grand Cherokee Overview

The Jeep Grand Cherokee has been launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 77.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be assembled locally at Jeep’s Ranjangaon facility in Pune, the deliveries will start by the end of November, 2022. The SUV is offered in a single variant.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Key Highlights

Features: Jeep’s luxury SUV boasts a 10-inch heads-up display, a 10.25-inch infotainment system for the co-driver, over 30 connected car features which includes functionalities like Alexa voice assistance and 24-hour surveillance. Furthermore, it gets Capri leather upholstery, active noise cancellation, ambient lighting, and a powered tailgate. Passenger safety is ensured by eight airbags, electronic stability control and a full suite of ADAS features, which includes adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and lane-keep assist.

Engine: Jeep India’s flagship SUV is powered by a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns out 272PS and 400Nm. The unit is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, powering all four wheels through its Quadra-Trac 4X4 drivetrain. The Grand Cherokee is equipped with Jeep’s Selec-Terrain system which offers four drive modes: Sand/Mud, Snow, Auto, and Sport. The SUV has a ground clearance of 215mm.

Rivals: Jeep Grand Cherokee takes on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Audi Q7, Volvo XC90 and BMW X5.

Variants: The Jeep Grand Cherokee is offered in a single fully-loaded variant in India.

Great vehicle

Great vehicle i would buy with the v6 since the v8 is undercooled esp in the south.Love the air bags very handy when you want to get under the vehicle to service no need for a floor jack.Very user friendly car tech is simple and easy to learn yet has advanced safety.Also adaptive cruise is great.

Class services

Don't go for this.Monopoly & third class services of service centre.Even they didn't have proper knowledge of product & no spare part availability.No of manufacturing default & company didn't agree to accept & resolve.Service centre will never pic you calls.After spending so much money no body want to deserve such kind of services.
