Honda Elevate Overview
The Honda Elevate Apex edition has reached dealerships. It is priced from Rs 12.86 lakh to Rs 15.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The limited edition is available with the mid-spec V and VX variants, at a premium of Rs 15,000. It brings in cosmetic tweaks to the exterior as well as interior, thereby slightly uplifting the looks of the compact SUV. It is powered by the 121 PS 1.5-litre petrol engine, available with both a 6-speed manual and a CVT gearbox.
The Honda Elevate is Honda’s first 5-seater compact SUV. The Elevate shares its underpinnings with the Honda City and offers many of the City’s values in the packaging of an SUV. The Elevate features a tall driving position, butch SUV styling and comes powered by a time-tested and reliable 1.5 litre i-Vtec petrol engine that’s available with both manual and CVT (automatic) transmissions.
Honda Elevate Key Highlights
Features: The Elevate is packed with essential features like LED Projector headlights with DRLs, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, a single-pane sunroof, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, auto fold ORVMs and automatic climate control. The safety suite of the Elevate includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, ISOFIX and ADAS.
Engine: The Elevate comes with a single 1.5-litre petrol engine option that puts out 121 PS and 145 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a CVT. Its claimed fuel efficiency is 15.31 kmpl with the manual and 16.92 kmpl with the CVT. It measures 4312 mm in length, 1790 mm in width, 1650 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2650 mm.
Rivals: The Honda Elevate rivals the Kia Seltos, Tata Curvv, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, MG Astor, Citroen Basalt and C3 Aircross.
Variants: The Honda Elevate is offered in four broad trims: SV, V, VX and ZX. The manual is standard across the lineup while the automatic is limited to the top three variants only. The Elevate is available in seven monotone colour options: Lunar Silver, Phoenix Orange, Obsidian Blue, Radiant Red, Platinum White, Golden Brown and Meteoroid Grey. For dual-tone lovers, the Phoenix Orange, Platinum White and Radiant Red Metallic can also be had with a Crystal Black roof.
