2020 Hyundai Creta First Drive | Enough To Regain Its Crown?

We've finally gotten our hands on the all-new 2020 Hyundai Creta. Time then to check out the new features and drive the new engines and transmissions. Wondering if Hyundai have done enough to make the new Creta the new segment best? We'll let you know that as well. Engines: Theres three new engines, two petrol options and one diesel, compared to the one petrol and two diesel options from before. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine makes 115PS and 144Nm of torque. It can be had with a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. The 1.5-litre diesel engine also makes 115PS, but torque is way more at 250Nm. It can be had with a 6-speed manual and the automatic option is a 6-speed torque converter. The pick of the bunch is the more powerful 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 140PS and 242Nm of torque. Hyundai is offering it with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission only. Featires: The Creta is loaded with LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED positioning lamps, and LED tail lamps while lower variants of the Creta are offered with bi-functional halogen projector headlamps. The cabin highlights include a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. There's also a panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake, cooled front seats, paddle shifters for the automatic variants, and an 8-way power adjustable driver seat.
