Suzuki V-Strom SX
  • Stiff rear suspension means off-road performance is poor. Pricing is on the higher side. Flat spot in mid range means one has to work the engine for overtakes.

Recently Asked User Questions

Q. Which is better, Suzuki V-Strom SX or Royal Enfield Himalayan?
  • I will definitely go for Himalayan because Royal Enfiled is offering a whopping 400cc engine at lower cost like around 2.7-2.89 lakhs where as V- strom is just a 250cc engine costing around 2.6 lakhs. The didn't like the looks though.
  • One and only answer the most better now Suzuki V-Strom sx ❤️
  • Both vehicles are great in their own forte. Suzuki V-Strom SX has loads of visual presence and looks like a big ADV bike. Handling is impressive by ADV standards. Relaxed riding ergonomics make it a great tourer. On the other hand, Royal Enfield’s Himalayan offers a more engaging riding experience, but you also end up saving quite a lot of money. Himalayan has great ergonomics for touring or stand-up riding, long-travel suspension aids in brilliant off-road riding, spoked rims, and tall ground clearance, switchable ABS helps to lock the rear wheel under off-road conditions. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your city and brand accordingly for dealership details.
Q. Which bike to choose, Benelli TRK 251 or BMW GS 310?
  • Both the bikes are good in their forte. The TRK 251 is powered by a 250cc single-cylinder motor putting out 26PS and 21.1Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. While these numbers aren’t class-leading, the TRK 251’s low weight of 164kg (dry) and class-leading 18-litre fuel tank should make it a good bike to go the distance. On the other hand, As a mini adventure tourer, the BMW G 310 GS fails to impress us greatly. It just about does the adventure and touring bit well and if we are talking performance, it could have been tuned differently. Even different suspension tuning could help its case immensely in increasing the fun quotient. The only place where it impressed us is in the urban jungle. Add to that the fact that it looks big and the build quality is top notch (sparing a few blemishes). It does have better road presence than the G 310 R too. In fact, it does look like a GS. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort.
