Aprilia RSV4

Aprilia has launched the RSV4 Factory in India along with the Aprilia RS 660, Tuono 660 and Tuareg 660.

The Aprilia RSV4 is a track-focused super sports bike and is the flagship motorcycle from the Italian manufacturer. Building on Aprilia’s Italian design, it looks sharp and elegant at the same time. It also gets Aprilia’s signature headlights along with the LED taillights and indicators.

Aprilia RSV4 Key Highlights

Price: The Aprilia RSV4 Factory is priced at Rs 31,26,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is available only in an Ultra Gold colour.

Features: The RSV4 features a TFT instrument console. It gets a 6-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) and the APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) package which includes engine maps, engine brake control, traction control, wheelie control, launch control, cruise control, speed limiter and 6 riding modes (3 Road, 3 Track).

Engine: Despite the stricter Euro 5 norms, its 1099cc liquid-cooled V4 engine is capable of producing the same 217PS at 13000rpm and 125Nm at 10500rpm. It gets a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Aprilia RSV4 sits on an aluminium perimeter frame. It gets an Ohlins NIX fork with hydraulic compression and rebound damping, and spring pre-load adjustability (125mm travel). The rear has an Ohlins TTX monoshock with hydraulic compression and rebound damping, and spring preload adjustability (115mm travel). Braking is managed by 330mm dual discs at the front and 220mm rear discs with Brembo callipers. It gets cornering ABS with 3 map settings. The RSV4 is equipped with 17-inch forged aluminium alloy wheels, wrapped with 120-section front and 200-section rear tyres. With a saddle height of 845mm, the sport bike has 202kg of kerb weight.
