Toyota India has discontinued the Platinum Etios sedan in India and has removed the BS4 model from the company website. In the BS6 era which began on April 1, the Glanza will be Toyota’s entry-level model.
Production stopped in January and dealerships are clearing the BS4 stock before the April 24 deadline for BS4 sales.
Toyota India plans to discontinue the Etios in the country. The model comes with BS4 1.4-litre diesel and 1.5-litre petrol engines, neither of which will be updated to BS6. - A petrol engine gives a mileage of around 13.5 kmpl in city driving conditions and 16.78Kmpl when driving on highways. In order to get better fuel efficiency returns from your car, we would suggest you drive slower. Driving fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are traveling above 60 kmph. There are some points that you can keep in mind while driving such as keeping a check on tyre air pressure, timely service your car, maintain proper gear to RPM ratio, do not accelerate the car unnecessarily, drive your car at economical speeds, etc. Moreover, the Toyota Platinum Etios has been discontinued and is not available for sale in the market.Read More: - Driving tips to improve mileage
- Yes mileage may increase. It depends on your driving efficiency. i.e. accelerate the speed as required its help to reduce use of Brake in city drive. And in highway don't accelerate speed more than 80 kmph. which help to decrease condominium of fuel .
