Renault KWID Overview

Renault India has launched a new Night and Day edition for the Kwid. While this new edition of the hatchback matches the price of the standard car, it does feature updated styling with a new exterior shade. This edition is exclusive to a limited number of models and is based on the mid-spec RXL(O) variant of the car only.

The Renault Kwid is a hatchback designed with the rugged aesthetics of an SUV, featuring robust plastic cladding around the body and high ground clearance. It is based on the CMF-A platform jointly developed by Renault and Nissan. With its stylish and modern look, the Kwid stands out as a practical yet adventurous choice for urban driving.

Renault KWID Key Highlights

Features: The Kwid’s features list includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument display with a multi-info display, a manual air conditioner, front power windows, a 12V charger, remote locking, and LED DRLs. Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, traction control system, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and rear parking sensors with a camera.

Engine: The Kwid is offered with a single petrol engine: a 68 PS/91 Nm 1-litre unit, paired either to a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automated manual transmission. It measures 3731 mm in length, 1579 mm in width, and 1474 mm in height.

Rivals: It rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso.

Variants: It is offered in five broad variants: RXE, RXL, RXL (O), RXT and Climber. Colour options include: Ice Cool White, Metal Mustard, Fiery Red, Outback Bronze, Moonlight Silver, and Zanskar Blue. The former two shades can also be opted with a black roof in the Climber variants.

The renault kwid offers a unique driving experience with an impressive mileage of 22km/l. It also has spacious interior and good quality seating position. Its ideal for city driving. The only con about the car is that it vibrates at higher speeds.
