Polarity Smart Executive

Homegrown electric two-wheeler manufacturer Polarity has launched six new pedal-assisted electric bicycles in India. These e-bicycles are offers in the Sport and Executive range. The Executive range which have been designed to be more practical compared to the Sport series comprises of the E1K, E2K and E3K. The E1K is the base version in the Executive series while the E3K is the top-of-the-line variant. The E2K, on the other hand, is positioned in between. All three variants feature an LED headlamp, a TFT instrument console, a USD fork and monoshock. Powering the E1K is a 1kW motor that has a claimed top speed of 40kmph. The E2K uses a 1.5kW motor which catapults it to a claimed top speed of 60kmph while the E3K gets a 2.5kW mill which is capable of delivering a top speed of 80kmph! The top-spec E3K also gets a bluetooth enabled console as standard. The brand claims that its lithium-ion battery can be fully charged in 2 hours via a fast charger (optional extra) but takes 4 hours to fully charge via a conventional power socket. Pre-bookings have commenced for a token amount of Rs 1,001 on its official website and the pedal-assisted electric bicycle will be delivered to customers by the first half of 2020.
