Ather’s Fast Charging Station Locations Now On Google Maps

Ather Energy has partnered with Google to show real time availability of its fast charging stations on Google Maps. This move will now easily allow owners of Ather scooters as well as other electric two-wheelers with the Light Electric Combined Charging System (LECCS) to find Ather’s charging stations. Ather currently has 1,973 fast chargers available across the country. 

This partnership will also provide live status of the charging stations and whenever a new charger is installed, its listing will be updated on Google Maps. Ather Energy’s LECCS is now the official standard charger to be adopted nationwide, as approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards. So, the adoption of LECCS will help in faster adoption of electric two-wheelers in the country. 

The partnership will further make it more convenient to plan their commutes in an efficient manner. With real time updates available on Google Maps, owners will be able to find charging stations while commuting whenever one is in need of a quick top-up, thus alleviating range anxiety in the process. In other news, deliveries of the Ather Rizta began in Ahmedabad, Pune, Delhi, Lucknow, Agra, Jaipur, Nagpur, and across Andhra Pradesh last month.
