It’s only a matter of two more days before we get to see the 2024 Tata Curvv and Tata Curvv EV in its flesh. Ahead of its debut, Tata Motors has given a sneak peek into the cabin of both these cars. The Tata Curvv will go on sale as an electric version first on August 7, followed by the ICE model, which is expected to launch in September.

Tata Curvv And Curvv EV Interior: Details Seen

The teaser images confirm that the Tata Curvv’s cabin design and layout will be identical to the Nexon. It ain’t a bad thing as the dashboard looks pleasing to the eye with its minimalism and a floating touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. Even the lower central console with the wireless phone charger and Land Rover-like gear lever has been carried forward.

But what sets it apart from the Nexon is the colour scheme, where the Curvv gets a black and white theme with a silver strip running on the dashboard. Other differentiating elements include a thin ambient light strip on the dashboard and door pads. Also, the Curvv gets the four-spoke steering wheel from the Harrier and Safari.

Tata Curvv And Curvv EV: Features Onboard

The teaser images also give a clear look at the features of the Curvv and Curvv EV. Highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, single-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, drive modes (Eco, City and Sport) and a wireless phone charger.

Passenger safety should be taken care of by six airbags (as standard), ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors with a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control and ADAS.

Tata Curvv And Curvv EV: Engine Options

Starting with the ICE option first, the Tata Curvv will be based on the new Adaptive Tech Forward Lifestyle Architecture (ATLAS) platform. It will get the carmaker’s new 125 PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol and the Nexon-sourced 115 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine. A 6-speed manual should come as standard, while the turbo-petrol engine will get an optional dual-clutch automatic transmission. Tata is also expected to offer the diesel with an auto’ box.
