While the Alcazar facelift and Creta share plenty of elements, the 2024 Alcazar gets unique design touches which differentiates it from the Creta

The Hyundai Alcazar is set to receive a midlife update next month, on September 9, 2024, while Hyundai is already accepting orders for the same for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Hyundai has already shown us what the 2024 Alcazar looks like inside and out, and the design cues seem quite similar to those of the 2024 Hyundai Creta, which also received a facelift earlier this year. Let’s see how different the Alcazar facelift looks in comparison to the Creta in these 6 images.

Front

Although the Alcazar facelift and the Creta share some design similarities, both have distinct styling elements that make them easily identifiable. The 2024 Alcazar features a sleeker front grille, a more prominent bumper design, and H-shaped connected LED DRLs. In contrast, the Creta gets inverted L-shaped LED DRLs and a larger grille that takes up more real estate. However, the headlight housings on both SUVs are identical, and both models also have an ADAS module at the centre of the front bumper.

Side

When looked from the side, the Alcazar facelift hasn’t changed a lot compared to its outgoing version and it is still an extended version of the current Hyundai Creta. The design is nearly identical to that of the C-pillar, with the Alcazar featuring an additional rear quarter-panel glass for the extra row of seats. The Alcazar also has more rugged-looking roof rails compared to the Creta, although both SUVs have a contrasting silver skid plate below the doors.

While both SUVs feature dual-tone alloy wheels, the design and size are different. The Alcazar sits on 18-inch wheels, while the Creta comes with 17-inch wheels. However it is also important to note that the Creta N Line gets bigger 18-inch alloy wheels.

Rear

From the rear, the Alcazar facelift and the Creta look significantly different. Although both SUVs feature connected LED tail lights, the 2024 Alcazar has vertical housings, while the Creta sports inverted L-shaped taillights. The rear bumper of the Alcazar facelift is more prominent and includes dual exhausts, which distinguishes it from the Creta.

Interior

The dashboard layout is same in both SUVs, however they get different cabin themes. The Creta white and grey interior, whereas the Alcazar features a brown and dark blue theme. The updated Alcazar now features a 10.25-inch integrated screen setup (one for the infotainment and another for the driver) similar to the one found in the Creta.

The rear seat of the Alcazar offers more convenience features than of the Creta. The 6-seater variant of the Alcazar additionally gets a ventilation function and wireless phone charger for second-row seats. Both SUVs also get amenities like a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone AC, and 8-way powered driver’s seat. However, the Alcazar also offers an 8-way powered co-driver’s seat and there’s also a memory function for the driver’s seat.

The safety features on both SUVs include 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control (ESC), and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
