About Maruti Alto K10 2014-2020
Alto K10 is the more powerful version of Maruti 800 and is pitted against the likes of Renault Kwid, Hyundai Eon, and Datsun redi-Go. To differentiate it from Alto 800, Maruti has used sharp cuts and creases on the exteriors. Even the interiors of Alto K10 follow a different pattern though the quality and fit-finish leave much to be desired. Under the hood, 1.0-liter K-series 3-cylinder petrol engine powers the Alto K10 and its 68PS/90Nm is good enough to propel this Maruti to triple digit speed without breaking any sweat. The gasoline engine is mated to 5-speed manual transmission which sends the drive to the front wheels and Maruti has done a good job by offering VXi variant of Alto K10 with the convenience of AMT. Priced in the range of Rs 3.26-4.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Maruti Alto K10 caters to the customers looking for some extra zing from their budget hatchback.

Maruti Suzuki has discontinued the Alto K10. The hatchback hasn't received any major update since 2014 and was also not updated to comply with the upcoming BS6 emission norms.
The Alto K10 was powered by a 1.0-litre engine pushing out 68PS of power and 90Nm of peak torque. The engine was known for its rev-happy nature and was paired with a 5-speed manual and AMT. The hatchback was priced from Rs 3.60 lakh to Rs 4.40 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
