It has a double disc brake front and back. My riding experiences, while riding this I felt like it was so smooth and I had a very comfortable ride. I also went on trips with this bike. This is best for travel purposes and the mileage is also best compared to other bikes. This bike also has two riding modes. This is a good thing. WORTH IT !. "
