About Ford Freestyle
The Freestyle is Ford’s way of trying to get more out of the Figo platform. But rather than just making it the Figo with added cladding, the Freestyle gets mechanical changes and additional features along with genuinely interesting visual changes to help it stand out among the faux-SUVs in the segment. Ford calls the Freestyle ‘India’s first CUV’ (compact utility vehicle) and stuff like the 190mm ground clearance (10mm lower than the EcoSport!), 30mm wider track, stiffened anti-roll bars and 15-inch alloy wheels make it feel like it can actually take on the rough stuff. An all-new petrol engine with improved power and mileage, new touchscreen infotainment system and an eye-popping interior theme should make the Freestyle more popular too.

Q. Which Ford Freestyle to buy, petrol or diesel?
- Ford debuted a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine with the Freestyle. The engine comes from Ford’s new Dragon family of motors and develops a class-leading 96PS of power and 120Nm of torque. The diesel engine on offer is the tried-and-tested 1.5-litre TDCi motor that pumps out 100PS of power and 215Nm. Moreover, selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and the average running of the car. If you drive less than 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially than the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it a feasible purchase. For a better understanding of compatibility and performance, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

Q. Confused between ford EcoSport trend and Renault kiger xz model and Vitara brezza, honda wrv , nexon as I have budget of 10 lakhs and want a compact SUV car which is safe and with all functions with decent mileage and good sale value after few years also no compromise on safety and value for money?
- Selecting a particular car would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the segment, features required, usage of the car, cabin space, powertrain options, etc. As per your requirements, we would suggest you go for either Tata Nexon or Renault Kiger. Renault Kiger, a practical and balanced family car with just the right amount of frills. An affordable, yet, sensible way to enter the world of mini SUVs. If you are looking for a properly spacious, family-friendly, rough road-loving, and peppy sub-4 meter SUV at an affordable price tag, then the Renault Kiger will feel like quite a complete SUV to you. On the other hand, the Tata Nexon with the facelift has become an even stronger contender. With the revised looks, more powerful engine, and added features, it surely needs to be on the top of your consideration list. If your safety is for priority and wants a spacious car especially for rear passengers, then you may go for Tata Nexon. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test drive for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
Q. I want to buy either Ford Freestyle OR Tata Nexon. Features wise Ford Freestyle Top end modle Titanium+
is
best as compare to Tata Nexon 2nd or 3rd model from basic. But don't much aware about Performance
&
Maintenance cost of both cars which also matters.
- Selecting the right car would depend on several factors such as your budget preference on the segment, features required, cabin space, engine options, brand preference, etc. Ford Freestyle is a fun-to-drive car with good ride quality and with decent safety features. Ford Freestyle is currently available in Petrol and Diesel engines. The 1499 cc Diesel engine generates a power of 98.96bhp@3750rpm and torque of 215nm@1750-2500rpm. The 1194 cc Petrol engine generates a power of 94.93bhp@6500rpm and torque of 119nm@4250rpm. It is equipped with the 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system that features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (but only in the top-spec Titanium model). Smaller additions include auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. Goodies such as automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, electrically powered and folding ORVMs have been carried over from Figo. In terms of space, it’s no different, which means it’s still strictly average. In terms of safety, Ford has thrown everything including the kitchen sink at the Freestyle. In the top-spec Titanium trim, you’re treated to six airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control, electronic stability control, and active roll-over protection. On the other hand, The Tata Nexon, with the facelift, has become an even stronger contender. With the revised looks, more powerful engine, and added features, it surely needs to be on the top of your consideration list. Tata Nexon is currently available in Petrol and Diesel engines. The 1199 cc Petrol engine generates a power of 118.3bhp@5500rpm and torque of 170Nm@1750-4000rpm. The 1499 cc Diesel engine generates a power of 108.5bhp@4000rpm and torque of 260Nm@1500-2750rpm. The Nexon gets a three-spoke steering wheel and touchscreen infotainment from the Altroz as well as new features like cruise control, auto headlamps, and wipers as well as connected car technology. It also comes with electronic stability control and an i-RA voice assistant feature as standard. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Q. Vitara brezza LXI or ford freestyle titanium petrol?
- Selecting the right car would depend on several factors such as your budget preference on the segment, features required, cabin space, engine options, brand preference, etc. Vitara Brezza still remains good value for money for an everyday city-centric SUV. The refined petrol engine should make it a better driver as well. It is powered by a 1462 cc engine which is available with a Manual transmission. The 1462 cc engine puts out 103.26bhp@6000rpm of power and 138nm@4400rpm of torque. On the other hand, Ford Freestyle is fun to drive with good ride quality and with decent safety features. It is powered by an 1194 cc engine which is available with a Manual transmission. The 1194 cc engine puts out 94.93bhp@6500rpm of power and 119nm@4250rpm of torque. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
