The Citroen Basalt is an upcoming SUV-coupe from the French carmaker in India. It was globally revealed on March 27, 2024 and will slot in the extremely popular compact SUV segment. The Citroen Basalt has been spotted testing in India at different occasions and is expected to be launched in August 2024. Higher variants might also feature a 360-degree camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system for added safety.

Engine: The Citroen Basalt will likely get the familiar 110 PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is available on the existing Citroen models. Transmission options could comprise a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter (automatic). Moreover, we expect the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine to be offered in the base models.
