Being the naked sibling of the Pulsar F250, the Bajaj Pulsar N250 is two of the biggest capacity bikes from the Pulsar line-up. It recently got major updates in the form of an inverted fork and an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, multiple ABS modes and traction control system, along with new colour schemes.
Bajaj Pulsar N250 Key Highlights

Features: The Pulsar N250 gets an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for calls and SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. The console also shows speedometer, odometer, fuel level, distance to empty, mileage, and other essential readouts. The bike also gets an LED projector headlight with ‘brow’-shaped LED DRLs and an USB charging port. It gets ABS modes: Road, Rain and On/Off Road, switchable traction control (can only be switched off in On/Off Road mode).
Engine: Powering the Bajaj Pulsar 250 is an all-new 249.07cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 24.5PS and 21.5Nm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox enhanced with a slip-and-assist clutch.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The suspension setup on the Bajaj Pulsar N250 includes a 37mm inverted fork and a monoshock. Bajaj Pulsar N250 Pros and Cons
Pulsar N250 Advantages
Excellent engine performance with lots of grunt; Comfortable ride quality; 795mm seat height makes the bike accessible for shorter riders
Pulsar N250 Disadvantages
Lacks features like smartphone connectivity, which are common in the segment these days; Could’ve gotten better build quality
Pulsar N250 Expert's Conclusion
The Bajaj Pulsar N250 is a fun and sporty 250cc naked streetfighter with a great engine and a comfortable ride quality. But the Pulsar NS200 and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V provide better performance and more features, making the Pulsar N250 a bit less appealing.
Bajaj Pulsar N250 Expert Review
The Bajaj Pulsars, ever since they hit the Indian market, were the first Indian motorcycles to give us the taste of performance motorcycles and that feeling peaked with the Pulsar 220F. So, how does the Pulsar N250 fare against more modern rivals? Let’s take a look -
Design
The Bajaj Pulsar N250's design is a head-turner, with sharp lines and a muscular stance that define its sporty character. The split-style seats and aggressive tank extensions give it a bold look, making it stand out in the crowd. The LED projector headlight design along with the LED DRLs’ setup looks similar to that of the Yamaha MT-15.
Engine, Performance and Mileage
The 249.07cc air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine with outputs of 24.5PS and 21.5Nm gives the Pulsar N250 lots of grunt to play with, which makes it very fun and easy to ride in the city. You can easily pull from 4th gear at speeds of 25kmph. In most engines, the torque output drops off rapidly after the peak output but according to Bajaj, about 85% of torque is still available after that. This makes the engine feel more responsive and lets you ride the bike at a higher gear most of the time easily. And even though the streetfighter has only five gears, it doesn’t lack in performance and you can easily cover long distances on the highway, even with a pillion.
Handling & Ride Quality
The Bajaj Pulsar N250’s ergonomics and suspension setup make it very agile to ride and has overall very good handling characteristics. Over bumps and potholes, the bike glides through comfortably. The 300mm front disc and 230mm rear disc setup with dual-channel ABS provides good feedback.
Comfort
The Bajaj Pulsar N250 has a sporty, upright seating position with the wide tubular handlebar. The footpegs are slightly rear-set, adding to the sporty riding ergonomics of the bike. The 795mm seat height makes it accessible for shorter riders and the well padded, spacious seats mean you can comfortably ride the bike for long durations.
Features
The Bajaj Pulsar N250 comes equipped with all-LED lighting with a projector headlight surrounded by LED DRLs. The semi-digital instrument console is neatly laid out and gives out the usual readings. The backlight switchgear and the USB charging port adds to the practicality of the bike. The absence of smartphone connectivity is a significant miss, as it could have made the bike even more appealing.
Should You Buy The Bajaj Pulsar N250?
The Bajaj Pulsar N250 with the impressive engine, comfortable ride quality and sporty handling characteristics make it a very fun 250cc bike. But, compared to the NS200 with its liquid-cooled engine and 6-speed gearbox and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V’s performance-oriented and feature-rich package, it is a bit confusing to choose the Pulsar N250 as the outright choice for a naked 200cc-plus streetfighter.

4.2Everything is good except
Everything is good except for a few bad things and some worse things... ist of all look is good... ist you'll get compared to other bikes but this one will have its identity sound is superb and all good... performance wise it's quite good but lacks top end as it barely competes with ns200 which is 50 ccs below and 6th gear is also missing (you won't notice this on the daily commute but you'll miss it on touring occasions). getting all led setup and decent build for the price. I would've said this bike is for the buck but now I change my mind. It's mainly because I met up with an accident. It was a very minor one as I was inside speed limits and it was very sudden to be avoided. Since it was near the 3rd service breaking as low as it didn't stop the way I expected the bike would stop. the other vehicle had minor damages worth 3k while my bike was initially estimated for 40k. It is a huge price and it is mainly because of the suspension getting bent but after a checkup in the showroom, they told me that this might increase as there is a slight bend in the chassis and there is a chance I might need to change that as well. Now it's a big problem cuz if the bike had this much damage in normal conditions, how the heck is this bike going to survive at 90 mph which is the sweet spot of this bike. My request to bajaj, if you are seeing this, then please give us a sturdy suspension and chassis. It's because this bike doesn't even have spare parts available in most places I am having trouble going for insurance as they need an estimate which is not available to me solely because the parts are not available at the site. and this 40k is also a rough estimate so god knows what is the final price after proper estimation. I do wish all the best for your future ventures and please check if all 250s have this problem or some specific units.

A challenger in the naked street bike segment
A challenger in the naked street bike segment, Bajaj Pulsar N250 is a show stopper that was launched by covered headlamp or grand touring Motorcycle. Known for its output capacity of 24.5 PS power and torque figure that peaks at the motorway speeds as high as 23 Nm, this two-wheeler promises to keep enthusiasm alive with a top speed beyond which is even over 130 kmph achievable. The bare minimum kind design coupled with agile handling traits catch attention while the feature count In about 14,00 pounds its affordable. While these may seem to be great furthers, drawbacks in slipstream advancements relate issues with the engine smoothness, clunky gear-shift and pillion comfort confinements besides some occurrence of uneven trustworthiness records. With these eccentricities, the N250 is nonetheless an attractive option for riders in search of a cost-effective and performance oriented naked bike.
