ABORIGINAL ART CUSHION COVERS

Enliven your home with our beautiful aboriginal cushion covers. Each cover is hand-woven and hand stiched with love, using a technique called Gabba. Chain-stitching is an ancient form of stitching used in traditional Kashmiri handicraft that helps form an important contribution to the local economy. All our cushion covers are hand made and produced in remote villages and help workers and aboriginal artists with gaining a supplementary income between harvest and other types of rural work. Better World Arts, the brand that brings to you all of our cushion covers, is a proud member of Fair Trade Australia, which ensures the fair pay of the people involved in the creation of these beautiful pieces.

100% Wool

Each cover comes with a secure, zip closure in unique aboriginal designs. The 100% wool designs are carefully and neatly hand stitched onto a black cotton canvas lining. The wool outer lining means that they are super soft to the touch and will add vibrancy to your lounge, couch, sofa setting or to be used as throw cushion. Our assortment of cushion covers offer designs of varying sizes and shapes (like rectangular ones and squared ones). Browse through our selection of hand stiched cushion covers to mix and match all sorts of sizes, shapes, colours and patterns to bring your home décor to a whole new level. Each aboriginal artists design tells beautiful stories about Indigenous culture and connection to country.
