More Export Opportunities with Export Initiatives
Energy, health, environmental protection - you export your technologies, the state supports you. Export initiatives connect you with decision-makers, customers and multipliers at home and abroad, so that you can sell your products and services in the best way possible.
German Energy Solutions Initiative
Are you already successful with new technologies in the energy sector? Are you now hoping to export them abroad but are missing the country expertise and access to a local network?
Then the German Energy Solutions Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) is the right place for you. This initiative primarily supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, smart grids and storage technologies in opening up foreign markets. The focus is also shifting to new technologies such as fuel cells or power-to-gas. The latter describes the process in which water (H2O) is split into hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) using electricity.

In each phase, entrepreneurs are provided with the appropriate support offers. Export Initiative Environmental Technologies
Environmental technology and resource efficiency are becoming drivers of sustainable development worldwide. This is because they offer solutions to the key question: How can the basis for life be created for a steadily increasing world population without endangering the planet?
The Export Initiative Environmental Technologies of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) aims to disseminate environmental technologies and thus make a concrete contribution to sustainable development and better living conditions in other countries. It is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises in the fields of sustainable water management, closed-loop recycling, air pollution control, waste and raw materials management, noise abatement and sustainable mobility, as well as cross-sectional technologies. The aim of the export initiative is to export know-how from Germany, to promote the application of environmental and climate protection technologies and to create innovative green infrastructures in countries in need of support.
How successful the introduction and durable the application of environmental technologies can be, depends on the appropriate framework conditions and infrastructure. This is why the BMU's Export Initiative Environmental Technologies starts even before product exports and thus complements the export promotion tools of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The initiative is intended to help promote globally uniform environmental standards and foster the financial, administrative and structural conditions for their implementation. In this way, the basis for a lasting application of environmental technologies abroad is to be created.
