Learning for quality health services

Learning is critical to quality of care. The WHO Global Learning Laboratory (GLL) for Quality aims to understand how to improve quality of care, paying close attention to actions required to achieve desired health service improvement. The GLL uses various mechanisms to encourage learning, linking the experiences, expertise, and wisdom of people around the world on important issues relating to quality health services.

The GLL provides a safe space to share knowledge, experiences and ideas; to challenge ideas and approaches; and to spark new thinking to enhance quality of care.

The GLL is organized around three areas of focus, grounded by learning pods or communities to accelerate learning on quality informed by local action.
