Don't Buy this heat alarm – it failed to detect rises in temperature in two of our five tests
When set the task of sensing rapid rises in temperature, this Konig alarm failed twice and its battery also failed to sound when it was running low.
Based on these test failures, we don’t think it’s 100% reliable and that’s why we’ve made it a Don’t Buy. König told us that it would investigate with its quality team.

To uncover the Best Buy smoke alarms that you can trust, we put every smoke alarm we review to the test against four different types of fire. And for heat alarms - which detect rapid temperature rises - we run five heat detection tests to check how well they work.
