The Jay-Be Benchmark S5 Hybrid Adaptive Support mattress is a hybrid of two different types of springs, rather than the more modern spring-and-foam hybrids that are very popular at the moment. Jay-Be is keen to promote its eco-friendliness, as it includes no foam and uses Advance e-Fibre, made from recycled bottles, for supporting layers. Can open-coil and mini-pocket-spring layers provide an excellent night's sleep? We sent this mattress to our test lab to find out.
