key information

Carpetright

Carpetright entered into administration in July 2024, and has been acquired by Tapi carpets.

If you placed an order before 12 July 2024 that hasn't been fulfilled, you should be able to get a refund, or you can place a new order with Tapi. If you placed an order after 12 July 2024, your order will not be processed and payment will not be taken.

Unfortunately, all guarantees given by Carpetright are null and void. Find out more at carpetright.co.uk

John Lewis

John Lewis sold carpets through their partnership with The Floor Room, which has now gone into administration.

As such, it is not currently possible to buy a carpet through John Lewis.

If you have made a purchase and you want to find out more, The Floor Room’s administrators are the first point of call for inquiries. John Lewis says that it will 'act as a safety net'.

If you need additional support with a carpet order, read our guide on what to do if a retailer goes into administration.

We asked more than 6,000 people who bought carpet for their homes in the past five years what they think of the carpet shops they bought from.

Our survey respondents told us about their overall satisfaction with each carpet shop, plus how they rated the retailer's carpet range and quality, delivery service and value for money.

So, if you’re looking to replace flooring that's seen better days, our findings can help you pick a carpet retailer that will provide great quality and service.
