Plusnet broadband deals
Plusnet no longer advertises standard broadband on its website, but still offers it along with fibre broadband deals. Average speeds between 38Mbps and 900Mbps are advertised, depending on where you live. Most if its fibre deals don't include a phone line and come with a 24-month contract.
Plusnet doesn't have any usage limits on its packages, although it does manage traffic, prioritising certain content in busy periods.
It usually offers competitively priced broadband but keep in mind that every March, Plusnet puts up its prices. It used to base this on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate of inflation, as published in January, plus an additional 3.9%, but customers who take up a deal now will see their price increase by £3 per month each year.

What is the latest Plusnet router?
Plusnet supplies its Hub Two router free with fibre packages. Our lab tests revealed this router is simple to set up, delivers healthy speeds and powers multiple devices, but isn't compatible with Wi-Fi 6 technology. Find out more in our Plusnet Hub Two router review.
Standard broadband packages come with the more basic Hub One router, which offers a reasonable level of security, but you shouldn't expect very fast transfer speeds.
