EE broadband deals
EE offers a number of broadband deals, including superfast and ultrafast options. EE's deals used to automatically include a phone line, but changes to landline phone services in the UK mean that it's now changed its strategy. If you take out a broadband service, landline services won't be included unless you opt in and pay an additional fee. EE's introductory prices are usually decent, but its cheapest offers are reserved for broadband deals with 24-month contracts, which may be on the long side for some customers. 12-month contracts are available, if you prefer, but can cost around £5 more per month than their 24-month equivalent.
Customers on EE's mobile service get incentives for taking out a broadband deal, such as unlimited data boosts on current mobile plans and new Sim-only deals with unlimited data.

How much is EE broadband?
EE offers several broadband packages, with speeds up to 1600Mbps (1.6Gbps) available depending on where you live. There are often affordable options available – especially if you're also an EE mobile customer. Browse all of EE's broadband deals, or enter your postcode below to check for the best deals across all providers in your area.
EE broadband speeds
EE only offers fibre and full fibre packages to new broadband customers. Its fibre packages have average speeds of 35Mbps, 48Mbps or 66Mbps.
Around two thirds of households can receive ultrafast broadband, which is capable of average speeds of either 149Mbps, 308Mbps, 500Mbps, 900Mbps or 1600Mbps (1.6Gbps) depending on the package selected.
Does EE put up broadband prices every year?
Yes – so if you do decide to take up a broadband contract with EE, keep in mind that it will raise the price of your deal at the end of March each year.
In April 2024, EE introduced a fixed price increase. Now if you take out a broadband deal with EE, it will increase the amount you pay by £3 per month every spring. The price for TV plans will increase by £2 per month (so if you take both broadband and TV, your price will increase by £5 per month in total).
If you took out a deal with EE before April, your contract will include a price increase that is based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate of inflation as published in January with an additional 3.9% added in. This meant many customers saw their price increase by 7.9% this year.
What is the latest EE router?
EE provides a Smart Hub Plus free of charge for fibre connections, which is compatible with Wi-Fi 6. The previous iteration of this router, Smart Hub, impressed our experts – find out more in our EE Smart Hub Router review.
What is EE Smart WiFi, Smart Hybrid Connect and WiFi Enhancer?
When you sign up for an EE broadband contract, you're offered several add-ons that promise to enhance your home wi-fi.
The Smart WiFi service (also called the Smart WiFi Plus service depending on your package) is a mesh wi-fi extender system. If you sign up, EE will send you a wi-fi extender to place in your home to improve the signal of your Smart Hub Plus router. If you need more than one, it will give you up to three in total, but you may have to pay postage for the second and third extender. If you still don't have reliable wi-fi in every room, you can get a one-off £100 credit applied to your EE bill.
EE's Smart WiFi add-on costs £10 per month and is subject to a 24-month minimum term, so consider whether you really need it before signing up. The kit is EE-branded but works in the same way as a system on offer from parent company, BT. Find out more about the system – and what our experts make of it – in our BT Complete Wi-Fi review.
EE's Hybrid Connect is a second router that acts as a back-up router if there's a broadband outage. It works using 4G services via EE's mobile phone network and contains a Sim with unlimited data. You can also use it to connect before your broadband goes live. The Hybrid Connect add-on costs £7 a month for a two-year minimum term.
Its WiFi Enhancer allows you to select 'work mode' or 'game mode' in order to optimise your wi-fi. This £5 add-on is charged on a monthly rolling basis so you can cancel at any time.
