What is Which? Great Value?

At Which?, we offer the gold standard for top-notch performance with our Best Buy products. But we also recognise that there are many exceptional appliances and tech products that deserve special recognition.

Enter our Great Value recommendations. Meticulously selected by our product experts, these models not only deliver impressive performance, but also come at a budget-friendly price – at least 20% cheaper than the average of the models we’ve reviewed in their respective categories.

While they may not always rank as highly as our Best Buys, they still deliver a good performance, making them fantastic choices for budget-conscious shoppers.

In the table below, we give some examples of these criteria to show how a product becomes a contender for our Great Value recommendation.

To qualify as a Great Value candidate, a product must not only have an affordable price, but also have a test score that supports its performance. This must be at least 60%, but our experts have raised that threshold in certain product areas (such as those above) where that extra quality really makes a difference.

While the full range of our Great Value recommendations requires a Which? subscription to view, below we reveal some of the standout products that we think are worth a look.
