Great Value cleaning sprays
We've tested 24 popular kitchen, bathroom and all-purpose cleaning sprays from big brands and major supermarkets, and three supermarket own labels emerged as Great Value options.
Which? Great Value cleaning sprays have to meet minimum performance standards, as well as being among the cheapest products per 100ml, so you know you're bagging a real bargain.
Costing as little as 11p per 100ml, while still achieving test scores over 60%, our Great Value cleaning sprays cost considerably less than big brand Best Buy equivalents.
One Great Value bathroom cleaning spray costs around a fifth of the price of the highest scoring Best Buy we tested, and offered a comparable overall cleaning performance.
You can buy our top-scoring Best Buy kitchen cleaning spray for under £1 and it's a Great Value product too.
In our all-purpose cleaning spray test, the £1 Great Value option performed as well as the £2 Best Buy for tackling bathroom grime and kitchen grease, but its overall score fell just shy of the Best Buy cut-off point.

What about eco cleaning sprays?
If you're looking for a greener clean, our tests revealed that you'll likely pay a bit more for a cleaning spray that's kinder to the environment while remaining tough on stains.
A couple of our Great Value cleaning sprays scored well on our sustainability assessment but didn't quite meet the Eco Buy criteria.
While you might not expect eco-friendly cleaning sprays to cut through grease and grime as well as some of the harsher cleaning products, we found some that cleaned as well as – or even better than – those made with substances known to be harmful to the environment.
We tested a number of cleaning sprays that claim to be environmentally friendly, including Ecover and Method, but it was the bathroom where they really shone. In fact, Eco Buys topped the table in our best bathroom cleaning sprays test.
See our best bathroom cleaning sprays to find out which eco-friendly cleaning sprays make for a great night in on the tiles.
An Eco Buy all-purpose cleaner also scored well at removing bathroom grime, but only one kitchen cleaner scored full marks for sustainability.

Latest cleaning sprays on test
As brands often reformulate their products, we retest cleaning sprays every year.
If a brand you want to see is missing, that's because the product was being reformulated at the time of testing, which meant that we couldn't include it.
