WatchGuard uses Marketo to manage our download forms and marketing emails. In order to view and download certain assets on
watchguard.com you need to allow the Marketo script to run. There are two possible actions to do this:
- Whitelist Marketo on your ad blocking software.
- If you are using Firefox, disable tracking protection.
How to whitelist Marketo
Quick reference guide for whitelisting watchguard.com on ad blocker software:
- Open the browser that has ad blocker installed
- Go to watchguard.com and click on the ad block icon
- Click "Don't run on pages on this domain," then click "Exclude” or “Disable on watchguard.com” depending on the AdBlock you are using.
- Click "Options" on the previous menu to manage your exceptions. Applies to Adblock and Adblock Plus.
- Refresh the page you were reading.
AdBlock:
- Click on the AdBlock icon on the top right. A drop-down menu will appear.
- Select “Don’t run on pages on this domain.” A pop-up will appear.
- Confirm the “Reload the page” box is checked and click the “Exclude” button.
- The page should refresh.
AdBlock Plus:
- Click on the AdBlock Plus icon on the top right.
- A drop-down menu will appear. You will see a “Enabled on this site” has been checked.
- Click “Enabled on this site” and it will become “Disabled on this site.”
- Refresh the watchguard.com page you were reading.
uBlock and uBlock Origin:
- Click the uBlock or uBlock Origin icon on the browser.
- From the menu, click the large “power” icon to “Disable uBlock from this site” (hover will reveal the instruction).
- Refresh the watchguard.com page you were reading.
AdBlock:
- Click on the AdBlock icon on the top right. A drop-down menu will appear.
- Select “Don’t run on pages on this domain.” A pop-up will appear.
- Confirm the “Reload the page” box is checked. Click the “Exclude” button. The page should refresh.
AdBlock Plus:
- Click on the AdBlock Plus icon on the top right. A drop-down menu will appear.
- Select “Disable on watchguard.com.”
- Refresh the watchguard.com page you were reading.
“Private Window” viewing:
Firefox "Private Window" runs its own version of ad block, so if you are viewing watchguard.com in Private Window mode, you may receive an ad-block-detection screen even if you’re not running ad block plugins.
To disable ad blockers, simply open up watchguard.com in a standard Firefox window.
AdBlock:
- Click on the AdBlock icon on the top right. A drop-down menu will appear.
- Select “Don’t run on pages on this domain.” A pop-up will appear.
- Confirm the “Reload the page” box is checked. Click the “Exclude” button. The page should refresh.
AdBlock Plus:
- Click on the AdBlock Plus icon on the top right. A drop-down menu will appear.
- Select “Disable watchguard.com.”
- Refresh the watchguard.com page you were reading.
uBlock and uBlock Origin:
- Click the uBlock or uBlock Origin icon on the browser.
- From the menu, click the large “power” icon to “Disable uBlock from this sit.” Hover to reveal the instructions.
- Select the reload icon in the uBlock drop down or on the browser to refresh the watchguard.com page you were reading.
AdBlock:
- Click on the AdBlock icon on the toolbar. A drop-down menu will appear.
- Select “Don’t run on pages on this domain.” A pop up will appear to verify.
- Confirm the “Reload the page” box is checked. Click the “Exclude” button. The page should refresh.
AdBlock Plus:
- Click on the AdBlock Plus icon on the toolbar.
- A drop-down menu will appear. You will see a “Enabled on this site” has been checked.
- Click “Enabled on this site” and it will toggle to “Disabled on this site.”
- Refresh the watchguard.com page you were reading.
