A person to whom a child is born or under whose care the child has been placed by a decision of an Orphan's and Custody Court may obtain information regarding the expected amount of parenting benefit before requesting a benefit.

Forecast of the amount of parenting benefit helps to make the following choices:
• which of the parents will receive the benefit for the child;
• the period of receipt of benefit up to the time when the child reaches the age of one year or one and a half years.

The expected amount of benefit shall be calculated by using the information at the disposal of the State Social Insurance Agency regarding personal social insurance contributions at the moment of calculation and shall be informative.

Process description

  1. Service requests
    To request the service, you must fill in for a particular form submission addressed to the SSIA.
    May submit a submission:
    • electronically - using the official electronic address (e-address) or e-mail (the application must be signed with a secure electronic signature containing the time stamp);
    • on-site (if requested for service, a personal identification document (passport or ID card) must be produced);
    • by post.
    The application may be submitted to any VSAA customer service centre.

  2. Receipt of services
    The service may be received in person, by post or at the official electronic address, in accordance with the type of receipt of the information indicated in the application.
