I'm seeking a UX designer and programmer to finish an existing version of an interactive, swipe and gesture-controlled interface on a Raspberry Pi controlled touchscreen. This touchscreen will primarily be used to control an electrical professional device, with the following key functionalities: - Monitoring and display - Automation and control This works in conjunction with a PCB which manages the technolgy I/O. The ideal candidate should have significant experience with UX design for touchscreen interfaces and programming with Raspberry Pi. It means you have a keen eye for design and are able to enhance our current version and complete the various functions. The current version is in Node Red but the company making it are firmware / PCB focussed and UX is not their strength. We have the Json files and detailed notes of changes we need. It is probably only 4-5 hours wor for this initial project, but we have a lot more we want to do with it, including setting up Push/Pull gateway etc. As the user of the device will be standing and operating at kitchen counter level, we want to use minimal text and use swipe and gesture controls. Please provide examples of similar projects you've completed- this is different to Tablet / phone apps as the users is at arms length when interacting with the touchcreen. Please do not use the AI to make your bid as they all look the same. We are looking for someone that values quality, attention to detail and long term relationships. Please make your offe stand out so we can find you! If you have experience in Firmware (C), this would lead to additional work.
