I'm seeking local fashion designers to showcase a variety of styles at a fashion gala. The event is dedicated to a close friend with a passion for fashion. Key Requirements: - Designers should be able to create and provide designs across various categories, including casual wear, formal wear, and avant-garde pieces. - The purpose of this gala is twofold; it serves as a platform to network with influencers in the industry, while also paying tribute to a friend. - Designers need to be mindful that the target audience includes both the general public and exclusive invitees. Ideal skills and experience: - Proven track record in designing for both high-profile events and accessible audiences. - Ability to create diverse and captivating designs across multiple fashion categories. - Experience in networking within the fashion industry. "We are open to discussing other collaboration types: aside from annual events." Designs need to be completed within 9 months. We have additional themes in mind: we will decide after collaboration with other committee members. The budget details can be customized as per the availability of resources. Designers will need to fully participate in the event, including networking sessions and potentially giving short talks. We are open to involving any number of designers. The event will host between 100-300 guests. The gala will include the theme: No theme at the moment. Designers should participate as needed with bi-weekly meetings to pin down all expectations and timelines during the pre-event phase. Designers must actively participate and engage with all attendees during networking sessions.
